About

Background

Originally from a small town in Devon, Marcia grew up surrounded by wildlife, Dartmoor, and the seaside - influences that continue to shape her creative perspective today.

Now based in Bristol, she works across graphic design, illustration, painting, and creative workshops, taking inspiration from everyday moments, colour, storytelling, and connection.

Illustration

Marcia’s illustration work is expressive, colourful, and calm, often exploring themes of flora, fauna, and womanhood. From illustration to surface pattern design, her work combines bold visuals and thoughtful detail.

Graphic Design

Marcia graduated from Bath Spa University with a First Class Degree in Graphic Communication and currently works full time as a Brand Lead Graphic Designer at Structura UK. Her design approach blends creativity with clarity, spanning branding, photography, marketing, and digital design with a focus on strong visual identity and purposeful communication.

Painting

Alongside her digital work, painting plays an important role in Marcia’s creative practice, offering a more tactile and grounded way of making. She creates colourful, atmospheric landscapes and also teaches as an Art Teacher and Event Assistant at Sip & Paint classes across Bristol as part of the Lovely Brushly team.
